My Mutual Fund Account is Activated - What Now?

First time you need to go to the fund house office to buy the mutual fund. They'll allocate you a folio number. Then you need to apply for PIN for online transactions. No extra charges. Most of the fund houses like sbimf and hdfcfund allows this. I have not tried icici and reliance but mostly...

My Mutual Fund Account is Activated - What Now?

If you have enabled mutual fund in hdfc net banking, and if u buy through the bank, i think you will have to pay the entry load. Its better to go directly to the fund house (hdfcfund.com), then you wont have to pay the entry load.
