Hello sachin, which shares go out first ? BTST or stock already in my account. Can any one give me a quick reply?
Those already in the account will be debited first.

You will have both debit and credit entries in your demat statement.

Please let me know what happens.

Who is your broker?

Actually there is nothing like BTST at exchange level and each broker has different rules for BTST.

There is nothing like BTST in Kotak Securities and clients can sell their shares any time they want.

As per my understanding,

He already has shares of same company in demat and bought more shares (let's say today).

Now, before crediting the new shares in his demat they will remains in broker's pool and it takes T+2 days to clear and credit into demat a/c.

I think we refer "BTST or STBT" before the time period of crediting into demat a/c.

In your case, your "BTST or STBT" shares will be sold/bought out first.

Happy Investing!

Is this means we can sell on [BTST] +1 day also?
On the exchanges and in Kotak Securities, you can sell any share on any day, even those shares that you don't have in your demat account, provided you have enough margin.

If you are not able to deliver on T+2 day, the shares will be bought in the auction.

Actually Kotak Securities has BTST and calls it BNST.

However, there is no difference between BNST and normal delivery trading.

Nothing changes whether one sells the stocks on T+1 day or T+10 day.

What is the maximum number of shares that I can sell under BNST?

You can sell 100% of the shares bought by you in the previous settlements till the payout date of the buying settlement in BNST.
In Kotak, the shares are first credited to the account and then the debit happens.

How would the movement of shares transacted for BNST reflect in the Demat account?

The shares that have been bought and subsequently sold under BNST would be first credited and then debited from your DEMAT ACCOUNT as per normal pay in and pay out. You would not be required to do anything different from your normal transaction.
