Dewan Housing Finance Corporation- NCD Issue - August 2016

#2
There were inflation indexed bonds..lauched by govt previously...chidu's great idea....it was a superflop...

DHFL...trying it this time....it is all hogwash...they will always try to manipulate the CPI (taking it when it is lowest) so that interest rate is low....
...
Better to go for "FIXED" rate,,,,,,i dont know why people want to "complicate" simple investment products like FD/NCD ....

Do all the risk taking in Equity/MF priducts....udhar toh fatti hai logon ki aur yehan ,,,debt products mein shaanpatti dikhana hai..lollol (on lighter vein)

IDBI had also tried FD with variable interest rate..,,
HDFC has one such product in Fd...

They were based on WPI.

They cant tinker with CPI. Rules are in the offer document

Agree fixed rate should be fixed and not "fixed" :)
No need to complicate.

WPI ..is younger brother of CPI...what the big thing abt it...model copied by DHFL...

People are so naive...
When Govt can tinker with GDP and growth rates...whats it abt CPI and WPI...
.....

Already they are doing it on average (to be on safe side)....lololol

When & Where I can check allotment status for this NCD?

Also, as per this link

https://nseindia.com/products/content/equities/ipos/debt_ipo_current_dhflncd.htm

Category 4 is not fully subscribed, so I will get full allotment?
As per this link

http://www.thehindubusinessline.com...ully-subscribed-on-day-one/article8938582.ece

while limit reserved for those retail investors, who apply for NCDs valuing up to Rs. 10 lakh subscribed 62 per cent, data showed.
If the above is correct then all retailers who applied on day one for less than 10L will get full allotment.

Ok, but when it will be out, where could I check it? I mean for IPOs we check on registrar site, so is there any link where this NCD allotment will be published?

Also any tentative idea of when is allotment?
For public issues, NCD allotment status is also available on registrar's website.

I am still not sure about the allotment date in this case, but I think it will happen this week for sure.
