Alchemist, this stock has been moving downwards day by day. Is it worth holding on to this stock any more?

What if the price goes below 440?

MPSEZ's future depends a lot on overall industrial scenario in the country.

With high inflation, high interest rates and slowing industrial growth, the profitability of the Mundra Port and SEZ will get affected.

Hence the stock is moving down.

As this is futuristic company, there are not enough earnings to justify the current stock price.

I sold half of my shares at Rs 970. Rest are now 0 cost and so I am not much worried about them.

I cannot predict how low it will get. In the bear market, the stock may go much lower than the IPO price.

Is it possible that it will go below IPO price this week? Its already at 490

Can we sell it now and buy below 440??
I don't think trading for 10% is a good idea.

If you sell it now and after a few days, the stock goes to Rs 600, you will miss a big opportunity.

If the markets weaken further, Mundra Port will also go down, but the stock will see a lot of buying around Rs 440 - Rs 450. This support should hold for a few days.

If I were you I would sell once it fails to rise above the Upper downward trend line! at 800 and hold if it crosses and breaks the channel to form a new high!

Alchemist,

Mundra port traded between around 365 - 380 range. Do you think will it hold 370 range? Since it declared the dividend today, will it go below the support?

This is a stock that closely follows the main indices - Sensex and Nifty.

The chart compares Mundra Port's price movement with Sensex.

If the markets can hold current levels, I think Mundra Port will also hold its current price.

You are asking from a trading perspective or investing perspective?

I think we are in a rounding reversal and target shown. Curving is also seen in yellow line, 50 EMA!

But this pattern normally has volume also forming a rounding pattern which is missing.....so quite unreliable but I still suspect Mr market will offer that price soon...

you usually trade for only 4%-5% moves?

If you have bought the stock in last few days, then I must say you have entered a highly over-bought stock.

There is no immediate strong support for the stock. Next significant support is around 500-505.

The stock seems to have bottomed out in the long-term.

Are you willing to hold for the long-term?

The stock is back to your purchase price.

Did you have an exit strategy in mind before you bought the stock? I mean target price and stop-loss.

the stock may correct a bit in days to come.

if you want to buy more, buy just above 500 and then just above 450.

The stock will find support at 200 EMA and 50 EMA, which are currently at 439 and 422 respectively.

(Note: values of EMA, DMA etc change everyday).
