Got 1 share. Buy price was 4260.So exact buy price with brokerage is 4300.

Anyways tomorrow the whole scenario will change it will start at 214 levels.

CLSA should have given ex bonus and split price. Now the recommendation will change to 180.But I feel lot of people who have money and wanted to invest in growth story might buy it.

CLSA sell target is around Rs 3600 (i.e. Rs. 180) is reasonable price I think?
3600 (180) would be a reasonable price (fair price), but even at 180, the stock won't be cheap.

Unless there is a strong correction in the market, Titan is unlikely to become "cheap".

If you want to invest for the long term, start buying from 181 and keep averaging little by little (181, 161, 141, 121).

120 may never come, but if 120 does come, I expect it to be the absolute bottom.

Has the bonus shares credited to anyone's account yet?

Only share split I see in my account.

I bought on 22nd June 2011,ex bonus and ex split date was 23rd.

I see split but no bonus shares (in short 10 shares shortfall).

Now it is hovering around Rs:230 level.

From the previous discussions I can see that lot of our members were interested to enter at this level?

Anybody getting into the boat now?

Prudent_Investor?

Some brokerage house has given underweight rating with 190 target.

Also 50000 limit for pan and kyc is a big downside.

I personally know my family fiends who buy 50 gram bars regularly and sell when they want to give that money on credit to someone.

They won't be interested in such big mess.

Hi Prudent_Investor,

What is your current view on Titan? Is it a good long term investment? I can wait for 3~4 years time frame.

All of the ratios (i.e. like PE, Book value, Dividend ratio etc) are very high/low in negative terms.

However the positive thing about it is that since the gold import restrictions are still in place, there is a scope for growth atleast in the share price :) when the restriction is lifted.

Thanks in advance!!
